The Sweatervescence has something to say… and they say it with a horn section.

In their debut release, Common Threads, The Sweatervescence tips a hat to artists like Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire and Jamiroquai. Formed in 2009 under the pen of Tyler Mire and Matt Hill, this group sought to add jazz harmony and texture to a pop format. Playing shows in one of the best towns known for live music, Denton, TX, developed The Sweatervescence a sizable fan base. Downbeat Magazine became hip to the ‘Vescence as well, finding a winner for their 2011 award for “Best Blues/Pop/Rock Group.”
